Hey Oliver,
Appreciate the effort you and the team have put into upgrading this feature, like the way a lot of this looks. Couple of questions/notes:
- How would the model conflict resolution process work?
- Would it be possible to add an approver/team to approve a draft prior to merge, something similar to a pull request list of approvers?

Hi Everyone! Oliver here :)
I'm happy to share that we are currently in the design stage of a revised drafting experience in IcePanel.
We've absorbed a lot of feedback about drafting, and it's clear one of the primary frustrations is not being able to draft changes across multiple diagrams. Currently the changes you draft can only be made to one diagram at a time.
There also doesn't exist an easy way to see all your drafts in one place.
These two primary frustrations have been designed for in the mockups I've shared below. You can now select multiple diagrams to be part of the same draft, and see a dedicated view of all your drafts in the new draft tab.
Some of the other additions to this revised feature include the ability to see a list of all the changes that have been made in the diagrams inside the draft, as well as a dedicated view of your model objects table, which is able to also show any objects that will cause a conflict in your current draft.
If you get a moment, please do take a look at some of the primary screens shared below. We appreciate your feedback very much as this is what we are planning to build next!

Sometimes a draft may evolve into something to persist as a new diagram rather than merging into the original.
