We would like to have the ability to manage Ice Panel diagrams as code. Our preferred format would be PlantUML, but we could also be persuaded to use Mermaid (I have seen some feature requests here already for this). We are finding it difficult in our workflows to keep diagrams up-to-date in Ice Panel using the GUI.

Another feature that would better enable this would be the ability to store the diagrams in service repos in GitHub. This allows engineers to manage diagrams in their code base as they do their documentation (README) and other code.
